In the morning I finished the test but the maths was very hard. In the afternoon I played video games. In the evening I read Harry Potter and didn’t go to sleep until after 11 (Ed – mixed feelings about having to tell Jesse off about staying up too late when he’s reading).

In the morning I had to do an educational psychology test until twelve thirty. Then I had lunch but Noah arrived soon after. We played with my weapons for a bit. Next we played Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare which is Plants vs Zombies as a first person shooter. We mostly played as a miner zombie or a  cactus. After an hour Noah left.

Today I woke up at a usual time and played video games until breakfast then until lunch when we went to see Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation. I thought it was the most original MI movie because the main character is framed and hunted by the CIA.

I can not confirm or deny any information about the movie with out the permission of the Secretary.

From my very bad sleep at tech camp I woke up at 10 o’clock so I didn’t have breakfast I just had lunch. Then I played games all day but we watched Guardians of the Galaxy in the evening.

 

Tech camp is in Sparsholt near Winchester and you do two courses. You can stay there the week and they do activaties. I did laser tag in the morning, where you make 2 laser guns. In the afternoon I did robotics where we programed a robot, an Edison Lego robot. Harry went too and did laser tag and FPS gaming where he made maps and then played on them.

In laser tag we get to use soldering irons. I burnt my finger and got a blister and it popped and now I have a hole in my finger. We had to solder the circuit board together then screwed the wood together and bolt the circuit board on. After that we played laser tag but then the cycle started over again and we made a second gun.

When I did Robotics we had to make the robot go round a spiral but you could make your robot just go forward and and turn after 4 seconds. Then we did detecting an obstacle. Afterwards  we did line detection and the challenge was a robot rumble where I drew first place. Finally we did light detection and followed a course.

In the evenings we did activities and my favourite one was Artemis which is a spaceship flying game where different people control different parts of the ship.

On Friday Mum came and picked us up and took us back to Jersey.

Today I am going to Tech camp.

We left early in the morning for a long drive to Canterbury. We checked into the hotel and then headed into the town for lunch. We went to a place that only sold roasted chickens, but they were goood roasted chickens.

After lunch we went on a boat trip up the canal, the guide was very punny. He told us lots of cheesy jokes and how it was a cathedral town, but also information about what we saw. It was very good.

Then we went to the Cathedral and a service with singing was just finishing, it sounded beautiful but I could not understand what they were singing. It has very good windows and architecture.

 

Then we went to dinner, and it was the first place in England to have good steak. We had lots of little meals which we shared.

When we started to drive it was a bit bumpy but it was soon fine. When we got to Arundel we went to the castle but we went the wrong way. Eventualy we entered and we went to the keep and the rooms. My favorite room was the armoury but we weren’t allowed to take any photos. The last thing we did was go to the gardens. Finally we went to the shop where I bought a monster figurine. For dinner we couldn’t get into pizza express but I still got pizza.

 

We had breakfast at eight thirty but we were the first people down. Then we went to Bicton, where Vanessa and Richard grew up, two of Grandpa’s younger siblings. After that we went to the New Forest were we dodged some donkeys and ate lunch. Soon we went to the inn were they had horses. Once we were settled we went for a walk around the forest where we saw a lot of horses and a group of deer. At the end we went back to the inn.

 

We drove to the hotel and had lunch there then went to get ready for George and Ashleigh’s wedding. When we got to the wedding we went to meet everybody. When the wedding began we went through the general wedding stuff. Then we sat around and after an hour we went to dinner. At dinner we heard speeches and after that we had some prawns. For mains we had a large lamb leg. For dessert we had cheese cake, I didn’t eat it all. Then I played some croquet and finally there was a dance. We went home at about nine.
