In the morning Harry and I went to jiu-jitsu. At jiu-jitsu we practiced a counter and some throws.
When I got home, I had lunch then recorded Terraria with Jacob. While recording with Jacob the recording stopped so I rebooted my laptop and lost the episode, but luckily Jacob had a copy of the recording. While all this was happening, Mum and Dad were trying to sell the car and continue the sorting of the house for the packers.
Over the week I have been baking and here are the photos.
After playing video games I went to Harry’s house. There we played outside then watched The Transporter 2. Before we went to bed we played on the wii.
First I cooked some brownies with Mum which are very chocolaty and I can see why they need nuts. For the rest of the day I played video games.
In the morning I played video games. For lunch we finished off the posh sausage role. I helped make chilli with Dad after watching Thor. During dinner we watched Scooby Doo.
Hubble is a giant orbital space telescope. Hubble has taken 1.2 million photos with 12,800 papers written from it. It moves at 17,000 mph and has gone 3 million miles. It takes photos of other galaxies and stars. It has an altitude of 340 miles. It can point like a laser 200 miles away to a coin.
On Monday and Tuesday I learned about gravitons. Gravitons are a theoretical particle that most likely exist because they derive from quantum field theory which says there are particles for all the forces and gravity is one of the forces. However general relativity says it doesn’t work that way because mass bends space instead.
I don’t know what is right though because I am not a theoretical physicist.
Today I started to learn about cooking. On Monday I made posh sausage roll for dinner. Posh sausage roll is sausage roll with sweet chilli sauce and onion chutney in it. On Tuesday I made ANZAC biscuits. ANZAC biscuits are in memory of the Australian and New Zealand soldiers who fought in World War one and two.
On Tuesday afternoon I went to Harry’s place and took some of the ANZAC biscuits. We played Terraria on my server and after a bit we played Robocraft. We also watched a bit of Die Hard.
In the morning I played video games and played some Terraria with Jacob online. For lunch we had roast chicken, bacon, vegetables and bacon. After lunch we watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which I finished reading last week. After that I played more Terraria with Jacob and Harry. Plus we did PvP which I won and then Jacob and I fought some bosses. Finally we had charcuterie for dinner.
Today was my party. In the morning I went to jiu jitsu and saw Harry and Noah and Harry came back to our place for lunch. We left for the cinema after lunch were we met with Harry, Max, Jacob and Noah. Then we went in and got pop corn to see the Maze Runner 2. The “zombies” are a bit creepy. It is very good and I recommend it. After that we went to TGI Fridays and talked until every one went home. In the end it was nice catching up with every one.
For lunch we went to Buffalo grill but it took a while. I wanted to go because it will be the last time we’re in France for a while. Next we drove to St Malo but eventually I started to listen to to the podcast and I made a mind map of the information. On the boat not much really happened but at least it was still. On the way home we dropped mum at M & S then came home and unpacked. For dinner we had pasta carbonara.
Not a lot happened today. We walked into Sarlat to find breakfast, it took a while but finally we found somewhere I could get crepes. Following that we packed our stuff and headed off to Poitiers.
We drove, listened to Wyrd Sisters and science podcasts, stopped for lunch along the way and then made it to Poitiers. We headed out to have a wander around the town, looked at another church and sat in the square. Next we went to have gelati and a drink at a restaurant. Finally we had dinner at a french restaurant for our last dinner in France.
