First we went to Rouffignac Caves where we went on a train a kilometer into the cave and saw some etchings of mammoths. Plus we saw imprints made with finger tips and cave bear scratches. The cave bears stayed in the cave before people were there. When the train stopped we saw a roof completely covered in paintings. There were deer, mammoths, horses, woolly rhinos, but no people.
Soon we went to lunch at Lascaux cave. Next we went to Lascaux II where we saw a lot of horses. They had multi coloured pictures. They used around 25 different colours. There were also pictures of bulls. Lascaux II is a replica of the original Lascaux caves which was made because the original paintings were degrading.
